AutoTally Terms of Use

Welcome to AutoTally. AutoTally is a personal vehicle expense, energy, mileage, backup, and cloud sync management tool. By using this app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Service Scope

  1. AutoTally provides vehicle profile management, fuel records, charging records, daily expenses, cost statistics, annual reports, local backups, encrypted backups, and cloud sync configuration.
  2. The app is designed for personal record keeping and statistical analysis. Results are for reference only and do not constitute financial, tax, legal, investment, or vehicle appraisal advice.
  3. Features may be added, adjusted, or removed as the app evolves. The available feature scope is determined by the version you use.

2. User Responsibilities

  1. You are responsible for ensuring that your records are accurate and complete.
  2. You are responsible for safeguarding your master password, backup password, cloud account, and device access. AutoTally cannot recover encrypted data if passwords or backup files are lost.
  3. You may not use the app for illegal activities, attempt to damage the app, reverse engineer it, tamper with it, or bypass security restrictions.

3. Data and Backups

  1. AutoTally stores data locally on your device by default.
  2. Backup and sync features help you migrate and preserve your data across your own devices, file systems, or personal cloud storage.
  3. If you enable cloud sync, encrypted backup files are stored in the cloud destination you configure.

4. Purchases and Third-party Services

  1. The app may use system or third-party services such as file selection, sharing, biometrics, cloud storage, WebDAV, or app store purchases.
  2. App store versions may offer AutoTally Pro as auto-renewable subscriptions or one-time purchases. Pricing, billing period, feature scope, and renewal rules are subject to the in-app purchase page and final store confirmation sheet.
  3. Pro features may include cloud sync, deep analysis, cost attribution, batch records, annual report export, and other advanced capabilities shown in the app.

5. Refunds and Subscription Management

  1. Subscriptions, one-time purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and purchase restoration are handled by the corresponding app store.
  2. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew through the app store unless cancelled. To cancel a subscription, manage it in your app store account settings.
  3. Uninstalling the app or deleting local data does not cancel a subscription.
  4. After switching devices or reinstalling the app, you can use Restore Purchase on the welcome page or Pro page to restore eligible entitlements.

6. Disclaimer

  1. The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We strive to improve stability and accuracy, but do not guarantee that all statistical results are error-free or suitable for every scenario.
  2. Fuel consumption, energy consumption, cost per distance, and related results are affected by your input data, vehicle condition, driving habits, road conditions, weather, and calculation methods.
  3. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by force majeure, system limitations, device issues, cloud service failures, store purchase service issues, user error, or third-party services.

7. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect feature changes or legal requirements. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
